Wa-Tor Java application screenshots

Captured on November 8, 2026, for the addition to the historical Wa-Tor article.
These images show funcodes-wator 2026.11.0 with REFCODES 5.0.0-SNAPSHOT.
The DOSBox reproductions of the Pascal program are documented separately in
WATOR-README.txt.

Both captures show generation 70 of the same seeded Java experiment, with
279 fish and 91 sharks. The settings are:

  run --width 40 --height 22 --fish 53 --sharks 5 --fish-breed 6
      --shark-breed 12 --starvation 4 --seed 12 --steps 70 --tick-millis 10

Add --gui or --tui to those arguments and press Run in the resulting form.
The world is 40 columns wide to keep the complete graphical board legible in
the screenshot. The application's historical default width remains 69.
All labels were captured in English using org.refcodes.messages.locale=en.

The actual JavaFX application was opened through its Main entry point with
--gui and the arguments above. The Run button executed the simulation.
The image is a JavaFX Scene snapshot taken after completion and after the
movement animations had settled, without desktop or window decorations.
JavaFX used its software renderer (-Dprism.order=sw).

The terminal form used Wa-Tor's own configuration, checkerboard viewer and
command handler through REFCODES TuiHelper on a caller-owned Lanterna Swing
terminal emulator. This is the same form used by --tui, rendered at 140 columns
and 64 rows with DejaVu Sans Mono, 13 point, and the default terminal palette.
The Run button executed the simulation. The image captures the terminal
component's rendered contents after completion, without window decorations.

The application JAR was used unchanged for both captures. No application
controls, simulation data or visual elements were added to the images.
